How much can I get from Brigit?
Brigit Instant Cash advances range from $25 to $500. Your personal limit is set by Brigit's scoring of your linked checking account — deposit size and regularity, balance history and spending — not your credit score. Brigit's own disclosures put the average advance at about $72, and most new members are offered $50–$100 at first. Limits can rise as your account history improves. Maine residents are capped at $250.
Does Brigit check your credit?
No. Brigit does not run a hard or soft credit inquiry to approve an Instant Cash advance, and advances are not reported to the credit bureaus. The only product that touches your credit file is the optional Credit Builder account on the Premium plan, which reports your payments to all three bureaus.
How long does it take to get the money?
Standard delivery is free and typically arrives in 1–3 business days by ACH. Express delivery sends the funds to a linked debit card, usually within about 20 minutes; it costs a small per-advance fee on the Plus plan and is included at no charge on Premium. Requests submitted before the app's daily cut-off are processed the same day.
What does Brigit cost?
There is no interest, no tip and no late fee on an advance. Instead, you pay a flat monthly membership: Plus is $8.99/month and Premium is $15.99/month. Express delivery adds a per-advance fee on Plus (disclosed in-app before you confirm) and is free on Premium. Brigit's terms also let you request an advance without a paid membership by emailing [email protected], though you lose the in-app tools.
What are the eligibility requirements?
You must be 18 or older, a U.S. citizen or resident, and link a primary checking account (not savings or a prepaid card) that has been open at least 60 days, has a balance above $0 and shows at least three recurring deposits from the same employer or income source. ATM deposits, paper checks, cash app transfers and irregular gig income do not count as recurring deposits.
